Kaws “Passing Through”

Kaws “Passing Through” Exhibition at Harbour City Hong Kong Preview. Some first images of the massive Passing Through Companion sculpture by Kaws have emerged, previewing one of the highlight pieces of his upcoming exhibition in Hong Kong at Harbour City.

The 5 meter tall huge Companion sculpture will be displayed on the forecourt of Ocean Terminal in Harbour City, spot lighted by four grand billboards for all the public to see during the exhibition period. Inside on the Gallery by the Harbour space, an exhibition will be held showcasing original paintings and drawings as well as display of the sculptures that were made previously.

The exhibition will run from October 4th to October 24th.

Takashi Murakami x Casio G-SHOCK Frogman

Takashi Murakami helps celebrate the 40th anniversary of Japanese radio station Tokyo FM with this special G-SHOCK Frogman design. The watch plays off Murakami’s signature artwork, with the base featuring a translucent pink motif, accented with engraved artwork on the backside and a complimenting watch pillow decked out in a familiar flower print. Only 300 of these units were produced, officially launching on September 11th, 2010.

An homage to 8-bit video game culture and Kung-Fu movies, "Super Ultra Kara-tay" finds fashion's latest phenomenon Dee & Ricky as Kung-Fu students who must defend their Lego Shaolin temple against a nefarious villain and his swarm of ninja assassins. "Super Ultra Kara-tay" is an original and innovative new short film that fuses stop motion animation, martial arts, original music production, and Legos in a unique process that has never been done before. this is amazing work.
